The director of Alex & Bruno visits Quebec

André Tardif, director of one of the first erotic gay videos made in Quebec for Chisel.com in Vancouver and Priape, has found a new niche. Tardif has just signed a contract with Channel 1 Releasing, Chi Chi LaRue's company, to produce eight videos featuring men from Canada and Quebec. "Eight videos in a year is an important order, but it's very exciting" explains Mr. Tardif.
This means approximately one shoot every six weeks, so, it will be intense." André Tardif, who has always kept in touch with his birth province although he has lived in Vancouver for many years, will be in Quebec from September 22 to October 10 for auditions, casting, checking out locations, finding well-known stars from the business for cameos and finally, filming. In addition to the shootings for a Vancouver web site - nudemodels.com - when he comes to town, Tardif will film several scenes for Channel 1's first production. Jonathan Beaulieu, one of the stars of Fuck Friends from director Stanlé Lubrik, will be part of the production, as well as Shane Michael (see interview in Zip, March 2002), a young Newfoundlander who came to Montreal for the occasion. Temporarily named "Montréal à gogo" (based on a Michel Dorion show in Vancouver), this video will be about young men and carnal pleasures… So André Tardif is looking for models.
