It is always a bit strange to hear guys fucking in "québécois" in an erotic video. It is even more bizarre when you know some of these guys…whom you have never seen fucking before!
Priape has partnered with a Vancouver based company to produce this first video, whose director, expatriated on the other side of the continent, is also from Quebec - and you can feel it in his work. It is more impressionistic, less "mechanical" and not as much "exclusively dicks" as the productions made by our American friends. There is a bit of Latin in there. And that's great, even though the narrator's commentaries sometimes have a whiff of "lecturing". The simple story revolves around the protagonist's (Alex) voyeurism and exhibitionism. We first see him hanging in the back alleys of Montreal, and he ends his journey in Bruno's barn, his boss, in the country. In the first sketch, Alex is peeping through an open window and watches a dildo specialist inserting five or six different sizes of dildos, one after the other! Alex then goes from voyeur to exhibitionist and exposes himself on his balcony, in the city, at daytime! This earns him the visit of a charming, hairy-chested cop who momentarily agrees to an exchange of "services" in return for his silence…
The story doesn't end so easily. Alex decides to expatriate himself to the country, allowing us to take in some magnificent scenes filmed on a Montérégie area campground, with waterfalls in the background. First a duo, then an orgy of six where we find (not by accident) the cop. The grand finale between Alex and Bruno (Nino Bacci, this month's cover) takes place in the barn, on haystacks. For the first time, we can admire - from every angle - the magnificent body of Nino Bacci who is closely examining Alex. These two have superb mugs. The other seven participants are also pretty charming, in more ways than one…
Technically and artistically, you cannot tell that Tardif is directing for the first time. The shots are nice, efficient and show what we expect from an erotic video. The actors are generally convincing and their lines (and orgasmic moanings) are pretty accurate. The narrator's articulation could have been better because some parts are inaudible; but it's not important. The polished, pretty and amply suggestive movie case deserves a special mention. And all this was made in Quebec.
We can only hope that Chisel.com, Priape and André Tardif will collaborate again as soon as possible, and maybe we can find out what will become of our friend Alex...8.5 out of 10. [Reproduction authorized by RG magazine : www.rgmag.com]
